Treyarch today added a new feature to Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Black Ops, and it’s called the Mule Kick Perk-A-Cola. You can now drink your cola to gain 3 weapons and to be able to switch them on the fly. This means you can get higher in Black Ops’ Zombie mode. To celebrate, Treyarch released a music video to accompany the announcement:

What started as a leak turned rather official. Map Pack 3 is on it’s way, and Activision today released the official debut trailer for Annihilation that’s slated to release on June 28th:

The map pack releases first on Xbox Live on June 28th, 2011. The map will include 5 multiplayer maps: Hangar 18, Drive-In, Silo, Hazard, and an extra map for Zombie fans.
Treyarch released a patch update for Xbox 360. Its only a few days before May 3rd, when Black Ops: Escalation, a new DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops arrives. Treyarch made a list of what’s in the new update, it can be seen below:

This month’s issue of Official PlayStation Magazine asked Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia if we’d be seeing Zombie Mode returning Black Ops, he responded:
“We really like the Zombie Mode, and as I mentioned I can’t talk about the co-op mode other than to say one of the reasons we love it so much is that it feels like it was a fan adopted mode, made out of passion of a lot of the team members here.”
OPM then mentioned that they wanted to see the Zombie Mode in the final game and he replied:
“Well all I can tell you is we listen to the fanbase. Those are our consumers, so…”
